‘Siruthai’ Siva, director of Veeram, is very popular in the Telugu industry. His movies Souriyam and Sankham were big hits there. Ajith’s market in the neighboring industry is also on the rise, with Arrambam’s Telugu version, Aata Arrambam, doing good business. So, Srini Babu, who tasted some success with Aata Arrambam, has bought the Telugu rights of Veeram as well.

The Telugu version, titled Veerudokkade, is likely to be released in the last week of January, as big films involving Ram Charan Teja and Mahesh Babu are targeting the Pongal - Sankranti period.

It is to be noted that Aata Arrambam also had a delayed release in Andhra.
