Ajith's Arrambam has made its march into the 7th week and is still running a few shows across the important multiplexes in Chennai city such as Sathyam, Escape and PVR. The film will complete 50 days next week on the 19th of December. Despite a plethora of new big releases, the film has been able to hold on pretty well along with the other Diwali winner, Pandianadu.

Not only in Tamil Nadu, Arrambam is still ruling the roost in countries such as Malaysia (4 theaters). The film has made a comeback in Sri Lanka too (2 theaters) in its 7 week and is set to reach the 50 days milestone in both Malaysia and Sri Lanka. This also proves the volume of the market for Tamil films in these countries.

In Andhra, the Telugu version Aata Arrambam is seemingly doing well in the A centers and has managed a handsome share for its stakeholders. It was in fact at Number 1 in the Andhra regional box-office past weekend, beating other Telugu and Hindi releases.
