There have been a lot of speculations about the title of Thala 55. When director Gautham Menon came to know the titles, Aayiram Thottakkal and few others, he was apparently impressed with those. But talking to a magazine, he confirmed that none of those is the title and that he hasn’t decided on one yet.

“Ajith in fact asked me, “What’s the title of the film, Gautham?” I told him I haven’t decided on one yet and will take a break from shooting for a couple of days and come up with the perfect title. I am also thinking of having Ajith sir’s character name as the title,” revealed Gautham.

The film is on floors already and an action sequence was recently canned, under the supervision of stunt choreographer Silva. Anushka, Arun Vijay and Vivek are on board too. Shreedhar Raghavan has worked on the script and Dan Macarthur is handling the camera. Harris Jayaraj joins Gautham Menon after Vaaranam Aayiram.

Jiiva’s next film Yaan directed by cinematographer turned director Ravi K Chandran is all set for a release. The film has Thulasi Nair of Kadal fame as Jiiva’s co-star and the film has been shot in Moracco, Mumbai among many places.

The film has been produced for R S Infotainment by Elred Kumar and Jayaraman. It looks like the film will hit the screens in June 2014. Director Ravi K Chandran sharing this news in his microblogger had said, “Had a meeting wt @Actorjiiva @elredkumar regarding the release of #yaan . According to Elred sir Aiming to release in June 2014”.

Yaan has music by Harris Jeyaraj and editing by Sreekar Prasad. It also has the Oscar winner Resul Pookutty taking charge of sound mixing.

Yes, the wait is over.Superstar Rajinikanth starrer movie Kochadaiiiyaan will be releasing on May 1. The news has been announced by Rajinikanth's PR on Twitter. He wrote, "Superstar's Kochadaiiyan, India's First Photorealistic motion capture film..Going to Create History in releasing on May1st."
